Passion for Innovation

The history of Indico Innovation is a journey marked by the passion for innovation, the incessant search for new challenges and the commitment to the success of startups around the world. Founded as an extension of the expertise of Indico, a leading company in data intelligence and loyalty programs, Indico Innovation was born from the desire of its founding partners, Christiano Ranoya and Luiz Panareli, to create a significant impact in the technology and entrepreneurship market.

In 2011, Christiano and Luiz took their first steps with Indico, leveraging their many years of experience in the data and loyalty market to provide innovative and effective solutions for their clients. However, his vision didn't stop there. In 2017, they decided to dive into the world of startups, establishing their first innovation office in Silicon Valley, California, where they joined the renowned accelerator Plug&Play.

It was at that moment that Indico Innovation began to take shape, led by the visionary Luiz Panareli. With its innovation headquarters established in one of the world's most important technology epicenters, the company has dove headfirst into its mission to accelerate promising startups and help them reach their full potential.

In 2019, Indico's then research and development unit, Indico Innovation, was transferred to the Porto region, in Portugal, where it is still working with Open Innovation and Venture Building to this day. This strategic shift reinforced the company's commitment to global expansion and allowed them to extend their influence beyond Brazilian borders.

Since then, Indico Innovation has played a key role in the startup ecosystem, accelerating dozens of companies in Brazil and Portugal and providing them with the resources, mentoring and opportunities needed to thrive in an increasingly competitive market.

Today, Indico Innovation is ready for the next chapter of its history, continuing its mission to promote innovation and entrepreneurship around the world, while helping to shape the future of technology and business.

Startup Process

We work as a facilitator between startups and investors, corporate partners and other key players in the innovation ecosystem.
